hamster! becuase gerbils like to explore, so they will crawl all over you (unless you hold thier tail so they cant go anywhere)and mice always squeak and they will keep you up all night! hamsters stay still in your hand, and they dont squeak unless you hurt them.

I have a mouse had five mice altogether and they have always been nice none have never bitten me. That's all I know I haven't had a gerbil or a hambster. Sorry I hope that helps!

probably a hamster, because i had one and she LOVED to be held and cuddled with. my cousin had a gerbil that kind of liked being handled, but it squirmed a lot. I dont know about fancy mice, but i have read that mice are quite wiggly too. i would go with a hamster because they are a lot more predictable.

Well Gerbils are very active and they do bite pretty hard! I have a hamster that is really sweet and have never bit me once and loves to be held! Gerbils and hamsters are the most holdable! But it really depends on the hamster and gerbil but i really like hamsters they do bite but only at first!It really does depend on how the animal is treated and how patient the owner is! I would do some research on them and see which one sounds more holdable! Or you can go to the petstore and ask them! You can also ask to hold a gerbil and a hamster and a gerbil!

either a mouse or a gerbil, a hamster will bite and eat their baby's , i think gerbils are a bit cleaner but mice are usually smarter. just my opinion . Dragon Lady..
