I've kept many different rodents as pets and by far, rats are the best of the bunch.

I love how rats interact with me, they want to be around me, I am privileged to be a member of their mischief.

I love their intelligence, their dog-like behavior, and because of this you can have the most fun with your rats like you can't with other rodent.

Those bright button eyes, those soft sensitive whiskers, that little pink tomato nose that never stops twitching. Perky little ears, those amazing thumb-less paws, that lithe greyhound body, and that tail, oh that amazing tail.....and that mind, that wicked little, ever-thinking mind...<swoon>

I'm in love.

I am so deeply devoted to pet rats that I will continue to maintain a website just for them

I do! I cannot keep them anymore due to my asthma- but we had them for 4 years until they died out. They are so smart- our autistic son taught them tricks! They love to cuddle. Ours liked swimming in a basin while we washed their cage.
