Unfortunately they still have a bad reputation with some humans because of how they have been represented in those damn history books as The Plague carriers and what not, but we know all Rats are not like that and plus it wasn't their fault it was what infected them first.

My first male ratty was called Mr Pedro Peabody and he was a dark brown and white hooded rat who was very affectionate and tough and my second and now male ratty is called Noddy and he is off-white or Champagne with pink eyes and he is affectionate and naughty and just as cute.

I wish scientists would stop testing on them as well, jeez if I was a Rat I'd turn the tables and pour acid in their eyes!

i do, they are soo adorable. adn i have a bunny and her and rats get along like winnie the pooh and piglet!! awww

I love rats! I have 5 and It's hard not to get more. Each one has his/her different personality. One of mine is the first one out when I open the cage. I have a really calm laid back boy, and a girl that's always on the go. One boy is very hyper and a bit nervous, and I've got an old girl that has been through several stages.
