You are thinking about the rats that live in sewers you goof. pet rats do NOT spread diseases RARELY bite people. Do some research before you go criticizing stuff.

Rats are pets just like any other and they get check ups by vets so they are healthy. They also groom themselves so they are clean. If they are socialized with people then they are friendly and dont bite...and rats never attack. If you invade their territory they will defend themselves.

Yes I agree.They are vermin, and horrible. When I was a kid and went on my friends farm, they used to lift the hay ricks and all the big rats would rush out,you needed to tie your trouser legs at the ankles, or the rats would rush up your legs. The farmers would beat the little so-and-sos with sticks.But some people think they are nice, but not me.
