d/t. In other words the disance you travel, divided by the time it akes you to trave it determins th speedyou travel.

FOLLOWING EXAMPLE IS USING MADE-UP FACTS

So, Rat sprints 100 metres in 1 minutes. Rat is running approximately (erm...100/60...like...6) so rat is Running6 Metres per second..I dunno if its possible, this is just an EG.. Now, man can move heaps faster, if running...but if we made the rat and man the same size, rat would still run just as fast because of his build (four legs better than 2)...

so...man runs like...100 m in 30 seconds...10 metres in 3 seconds...rat runs 100 m in 60 seconds (unless he hops skips and popcorns his way to the finnish line) so thats 10 metres every 6 seconds. Size difference : HUGE, speed difference: 3 seconds for every 10 metres...

If rat was, um...bigger-fied, to like, our size, which is approximately 30x bigger, that would be 10 metres per 3 seconds gained for each size-up. so it improves by 300%

Rat is approx 290% faster than man.
