I do not think them we don't all like the same things and that is good.
That's like asking why are there stars in the sky. Hamsters just are cool. They're cute, and sweet, and they do funny things. They're a great way to help children learn responsibilty, and they're a good companion, because it's hard for them to run away.
I think Hamsters are cool because they are easy to care for. Also because they are so cute and friendly and are very entertaining to watch. If you watch them closely you can see how they clean themselves and how they store food in there cheeks...and they punch there cheeks to spit out there food in a hiding spot...they are fun to watch on there wheel and in tubes to...I just love my hamster!! His name is scooter.you can also buy a ball for them to roll around in your house.its funny and gives them excercise!

Mine is a cute fat ginger fur ball who loves kisses and cuddles, will fight you for food lol! loves to curl up next to me on the sofa for a snooze in the evenings, he never bites, he wiggles that fat bottom of his when he has a run about, He escaped for 10 days when me and my husband were on holiday ( thanks les! - my neighbour who was supposed to look after him! ) and as soon as we got home he responded to his name being called, and thankfully was not to traumatised by his 10 days of freedom! He is cheeky though, he has chewed his way through our sofa, and my husbands expensive jeans. But he really is the best , and definatly a cool pet!
thats the stupidest question ive ever heard! theyre cool because they are small and cute and furry and funny and playful and you can take them when you go places sometimes and they make people freakin happy! ...thats why theyre cool.
