Answers:feeding on poop
bugs get into the food...bad bag of food
Clean it out real good with diluted bleach water, rinse and dry good. make sure the water bottle isn't leaking or something. It's usually wettness that attracts them.
You probably need to clean it out at least once a week. Give it a really good cleaning..make sure you get the crap out of the corners.
check the food, the bag might be bad and contain the flys. if it doesnt then you need to clean your little guy more often!
Try changing out the bedding twice a week, and give the cage a thorough cleaning every week instead of every two weeks.
cuz your hamsters so sweet!! lol, she probably havs a food stash somewhere by her bed, look and if there is you should remove it.
Fruit flys are attracted to poop, and if you don't clean out the cage often enough then it will create fruit flys. Clean out the cage, before you start getting maggots!
