I agree. It's not funny.
You can report just about any answer.
I think it's because people don't really care. Personally I hate those type of answers. What you can do is next to the name is a flag: it will say "repot abuse", click on it and then give the reason why. It's really quite easy.
The second is: they could be, but just ignore them it's faster and easier!

The people who answer the questions like that either just like to see their own writting ( Kind of like the sound of thier own voice), or they probably think that they are beeing funny.
The other option I can think of is that they are just trying to get points, so they answer a question about something they know absolutely nothing about.
It is absolutely a reportable offecence since they are not actually contributing to the community at all. I usually report them then give them a thumbs down.
I hate those types of people.
I usually just ignore those types of answers. They are not worth my time and no-one should take them seriously.
I am more disturbed by some of the bad advice given by perhaps well-meaning folk who know not what they are talking about, and it's pretty obvious they've never done research!

After having Mice for years I must agree to feed them to the snakes or your Ferrets. It is natural for them ~ They are carniverous creatures. They will not survive without MEAT.
When there are mulitple mice in a cage they will eat each other so whats so wrong with feeding them to a natural preditor?

You could always report them but it's not hard to make a new account on here so I don't think there's anyway to permanently stop it, also as you said there's tons of answers like this.
The best way is to just ignore it IMO.
