Answers:

like ALL ANIMALS WHEN THEY ARE STRESSED THEY DO CRAZY THINGS,,THE MOM WAS PROBELEY STRESSING AND ATE THE BABYS OR MAYBE THE OTHER ONE ATE THE BABY;S.. YOU SHOULD GET 2 CAGES AS THE 1 CAGE IS NOT GONNA WORK FOR THE 2 THAT ARE FIGHTING,GET ANOTHER CAGE BEFORE THEY HURT OR KILL EACH OTHER,,,NO JOKE LOL

Kill the bad mother.
They need separate houses!
you cant have 2 females in one cage that has had babies. the other female WILL eat the babies because there isnt much space in the cage or the other one is the dominate female. i hate to say it, but your going to have to seperate the dominate female to another cage.. the other female is deathly affraid and will also eat its young if there is another female in the cage. hope this helps.
Hampsters are just not social types...ESPECIALLY females. It would probably be best if you put them in separate habitats.

As for eating the babies, not like it's frequent or anything, but it does happen.

I worked at Petsmart a while back and we always kept the hampsters separate, no matter which breed.

hamsters are SOLITARY animals they aren't supposed to be kept together
hamsters are very territorial and two hamsters can not live in the same cage. they need to be separated into different cages. this also explains why the mother hamster ate her babies. baby hamsters only stay with their mother for about four weeks, until they eat regular hamster food. if the babies are not separated from the mother at about four weeks of age she will get rid of them herself.thisis what happened to you and this is what happens to a lot of baby hamsters when rookies like you don't do their research about their pets before getting them or looking for information when they have babies. separate the two feamle hamsters into different cages andthey will be ok for the rest of their lives. make sure you take care ofthem properly and they will be happy and content. also, if you hold one of them, wash your hands before you hold the other one. one may bite your hand if it smells competition. good luck.
You need to seperate them. I used to have hamsters, too. Males can't be together, and females who are having babies can't either. When they are young, its ok for a little while, but its best to seperate them if they are old enough to breed.
u got them at different times obviously means they have nvr met before...how can u expect them to get along immediately?? maybe u shld have introduced them on neutral grounds first and see if they are ok with one anth
