When I was smaller I bought 3 guinea pigs, one after another because they kept dieing. I bought them all as babies too. The first one lived longer than the rest but I don't understand! After about 2 months I would just find them dead or they got dehydrated. I got them plenty of exercise, I made sure they had food and water all the time...they're water bottles were full and their cages were cleaned properly. I was so excited for a guinea pig I researched about them and everything so I would make sure they were healthy. I don't understand...my mom said they became dhydrated because they would slowly become weak and then stop breathing within a few hours. I didn't have them in a vile place or a dangerous place and it wasn't too hot or cold or anything because like I said, I went by the book and everything.

Guinea Pigs commonly get brain tumors. No matter what you do you can't usually help them. 9/10 guinea pigs die from them.

Did you try diffrent foods oh ans also try vitimian or calcium pills.

Well this is just a though that the water bottle isnt working like its clogged up and they cant get water. Mabey you could get a small little bowl that they can reach and put water in it like a dog drinks or mabey you need a new water bottle. I hoe this helps you in any way.

If you got them from petstores, they probably came to your home with medical issues. Most commonly found in petstores is URI and mites. They should have been looked over by a vet, no matter where you adopted them. Also, they live best with another guinea pig companion (of the same gender to prevent accidents.) Yours might have been really lonely, so they became lethargic. How big is your cage? Because most petstore bought cages are too small and restrict exercize. http://www.guineapigcages.com has excellent cage ideas that will really improve the guinea pigs quality of life. You would also need to hold them or let them run around every day so they get enough social time. Did they have a right diet? They could have passed from scurvy, not getting enough vitamin c. Guinea pigs cannot make their own, so we need to feed them veggies like kale, peppers, collard greens, tomatoes, ect. everyday. They also need hay, water, and guinea pig pellets at all times.
