My little girl has got 4 dwarft hamsters; they are very cute. Shes seems to love them so whatever makes her happy makes me happy. They are cheap and easy to maintain aswell..

What do you have against hamsters and gerbils? They may only live for a few years, but they are really fun to play with, very loving, and very entertaining as well. the dwarf hamster which I have is SO cute as well and she brightens my day every day. They are also easy to care for. (at least the dwarf ones are). Have you ever had a hamster or gerbil? If you haven't, then you have no defense for your "whats the point" argument.
