So basically they are as loving as dogs and cats, just a lot smaller. Also they can keep you entertained for hours, they are great little things.

the point is (whether regarding any pet, mate or breeding your own kids) to home & nurture another living thing & provide a safe, secure & happy life to the animal/person you take on. not! merely for your own amusement. &, unless you are a sociopath in need of extermination, this is a natural human instinct

Because some people have a heart and want to have a little fluffy buddy to talk to and play with, you can make them do all sorts of things, someone i know taught his hamster to walk on a tight rope.

well your stupid...ROBOROVSKY HAMSTERS! they're the interesting ones to observe!...they stand up and do tricks and everything!...most of the time active and luuuv socialising!..they extremely fast though and cute...they love doing everything together including, playing, sleeping, everything basically...so its better you get a bigger and more adventurous cage for them...i got the rotastak adventure zone... kind of pricey though but worth it... and by the way i got my robo's from "petsathome.co.uk", if you wanna go to the nearest shop go to the store-locater and you'll find your way from there,
