Well we all like different things. I like a pet mouse cos he helps me with my computer. Feed him with cheese and he will point to anything I want him to do.

Hamsters and gerbils are cute and interesting to watch. They are also pets that require less commitment than larger animals. It's all down to individual liking. After all, if you look at everything with a negative, what's the point of anything in life?

Hamsters make great starter pets for children and adults alike. Sure, you can't cuddle them, call them or play with them the way you can do with a cat or dog, but you can love them, care for them and have a lot of fun looking after them.

Some people can't get cats or dogs due to financial problems, restrictions where they live, time/work restraints, allergies, etc, etc, so hamsters make great pets for the right people.

You are obviously not the right people!!
