As for his sleeping patterns, again, mine can sllep all day and all night sometimes. Others days he can be awake begging to come out for a play. He has no timing to his sleep pattern either. Sometimes he does not wake during that night but in the morning when im rushing round in a mad panic getting ready for work!I thien have to find time to take him out of his cage for him to have a run around ( Like this morning!)
Hamsters are unique. No two are the same in what they like and dislike, or what there cute little habits are, just like humans. You sound to me like you have a normal healthy hamster.
they sleep all day usually they are nocturnal, mine wake up around 9pm and exercise in their ball for an hour or so, then go back in cage.
