Why does my sons guinea pig make a cooing noise2007-11-24 22:19:27Answers:
piggies are very vocal animals. Most of the time the cooing noise is a sign of contentment. The high pitched squealing noise can be either a sign of excitement or nervousness. They are great pets for kids and usually have a great temperament.
because it is a Guinea pig, most do that
if its anything like my chinchilla its just a warning its trying to scare you it thinks your going to hurt it
Because it is happy!! ^_^ Guinea pigs make a wide range of noises.
look on guinea linx it tells you what all the noises mean.google it.mine squeel when i go in with food and they are excited to see me.they do low grumble when not happy stroke its head now run your hand down toward where its tail will be and see the grumble none of them like to be stroked near their rear end so you will hear the i am not happy sound!
Oh that's perfectly normal.
I have a hamster but there were no books on hamsters so I borrowed a book on guinea pigs and it said that is SO normal. If it make a cooing noise while HE is holding it,then he needs to wash his hands because they might smell different and the G pig will be scared, same with strangers. But in the cage it's normal.
Causes:
G P is scared, hungry, wants someone to pet it or happy.
