Why is my banded baby syrian hamster so hyper2007-11-24 22:19:57

i just got a baby banded syrian hamster that is pretty big and he never stopped running on the wheel. his ears are still very transparent. he runs on the roof of the wheel instead of in the wheel. he found out taht there were 2 tube connection holes and he tried to get out. why is he so hyper
