Why is my guinea pig shedding so much

My Guinea pig is shedding, but shows no bald spots. Any help?
Answers:Give a bath. If that doesn't help go see a vet
Some pigs shed more than others. Brushing daily may help. Excessive shedding is a sign of mites, even is there are no bald spots. http://guinealynx.info/mites.html...
Probably just maulting at this time of year.. not as much as it looks.
Check out the above mites link though, to be safe.
It might just be your pigger! We have 3 guinea pigs. One sheds a ton, it seems like ~
: o )
You can take her/him to a vet to be checked out, and you can treat for mites/fleas with kitten Revolution to be on the safe side.
How long have you had this guinea pig? If you had for a while, is this much shedding unusual?
Stress, also, can cause a lot of shedding, but , again, it may just be how your pigger is!
