Hope this helps.
buy one of those hamster toilets maybe he'll take to that, they're a bit like a house.
get hamster toilet and he might use it, but my hamster is the same its just gross but there is a reason for it. Hamsters eat some of there poo. Its full of nutrients and so some of it they eat - honest its true and gross
More than likely, your hamster does his business in there because it's a smaller, confined space where he feels comfortable. If this is where he mainly goes, I'd try putting a little litter tray with litter underneath the house to make for quicker, easier cleaning.
my alway do the same thing as ur too.. every time but i found out that they some time do throw out some of poo poo..
so most of the time i clean the "house" every 2-3 day time.
:-)
Well you shouldn't do anything. He loves to wee in there. Just leave it alone. It is like a toilet to him. Would you wee around anywhere else other than the toilet?
So, it's alright. Ignore this.
hamsters r nocturnal they like da dark so they do their business where it is shady da cheapest way of makin a hamster toilet is makin a shady corner as a toilet by da way dis is not researched i have no source part from my knowledge lol
Hamsters will go to the toilet on different places in the cage. Cages must be clean at least every 2nd day. It also can smell bad after a while. Maybe the hamster house can be removed at the mornings and at night put the house back.
