if she/he still isnt eating then u need to pick her/him up gently and turn him/her so its stomach is facing you

then put a piece of hamster food near your hamsters mouth

it should take it off you and put it in its pouch

if it doesnt don't shove it in its mouth as that is not doing anyone any favours.

but another thing u need to do is check its not storing any of its food

if it isnt, then contact a vet

Take it to the vets right away. I would have not waited for as long as you have. If an animal doesnt eat within a couple of days, I would have had it straight to the vets to find out what is wrong. Hope it turns out alright.

Did you change its brand of food because some hamsters have a hard time ajusting to a new food. Also hamsters are most active at night so you might not have noticed it eating, they also store food in their mouth and somtimes in the corner of their cages. I recomend taking it to the vet just to be safe

are u sure its not been eating because sometimes they dont look like they seem to eat when out at night hun but to be sure i think u should take it to the vets to be on the safe side

How can you be sure?

Hamsters usually keep a supply of food in their house, it could be eating that. Try feeding it lettuce and interesting food not just biscuits, or maybe fruit, something it will want.

He might have wet tail. They usually stop eating and drinking, then die. He could also be storing food. Look all around his cage.
