Why is the lifespan of a mouse 2 yrs
I have 2 mice that ive had for a year and a half, another female who just had babies.
Im worried that the boys will just die. They are nearing 2yrs. So...how does it happen? And why would their deaths be considered "old age" if they'ere only two?
I was thinking of adopting them out...just so i dont have to witness there death. Fortunatly i have 8 one week old babies to keep me going.
All/any opinions would be appreciated.
Thanks
Answers:i love mice!there life span is NOT 2 years its really 1.5 years i read it on the computer but some are 3 years
did they die
i am so sorry, they live for 2 years because they have a very fast heart beat which means that 1 hour is like a day or so to them!
It is because of old age. So when they die (if they're healthy) they will just die of old age. Good Luck
It would be irrisponsible to adopt them out. That is wrong. Its like cause my dog is 10 i'm going to give her to omeone else. So no do not have them readopted. They would be upset to. They would wonder why did he/she give me away.
