Same goes for the exerise balls. It forces the spine to bend the wrong way. Not to mention the harm it does to their feet and legs.

Pet supply manufacturer aren't concerned with the safety of your pets. There are no regulations in the pet business, which there should be. It is up to owners to research what is best for our animals.

Probably because he doesn't want to use a leash. I think that guinea pigs aren't supposed to use leashes. Oh, and what if there was a stray dog that was out at the same time you were walking the guinea pig? The best thing you can do is just give your guinea pig floor time for at least one hour per day and maybe 10 minutes in your backyard if you have grass there. I would never take my guinea pig out at all becaue it will be either hot (Spring and Summer), or cold (Fall and Winter). It is very warm here in the Spring.
