Why my guinea pig started to smell different
first I got a male guinea pig and then I got a female guinea pig. I had them together for few minutes but then I separate them, cause he was a typical man (yeah). before I got female I knew the smell of my male guinea pig. when I got a female I also smelled her and she smells diferently. so now male guinea pig changes his smell and he smells more like a female guinea pig. any explanation?
Answers:Please keep your male and female guinea pigs seperate. The chances are your female could now be pregnant and this can be extremely dangerous for guinea pigs- a large percentage of guinea pigs die during pregnancy and older females cannot give birth as their pelvic bones fuse together.

Okaii den =P ,,,
Why in the world did you put them together? Are you TRYING to breed unresponibly?DON'T. It's probably just her smell rubbing off on him. Sometimes people take things way more serious than they ought to be taken.
