Will Mouse Be Okay

Will Mouse Be Okay2007-11-24 22:20:05

If when you go to the vet, and it does turn out to be a bacterial infection, do not let him prescribe Amoxicillin, it is deadly to pigs, and some vets don't know that.

Keep reading from my source, and check out if you think it is serious. Go to ask.com, and type in guinea pig illness symptoms, and you should get plenty of good results.

I hope that Mouse isn't sick, and if he is, keep your spirits up, he will be fine!!

sounds kind of like snuffles for rabbits.here is what you can do if it is snuffles:

make sure that his home is quiet and comfortable. it also might be caused because he is allergic to something(have you gotten any new furniture or carpets or pets or anything like that)hope i helped and i hope he gets better!

DON'T TAKE A MOUSE TO THE VET! That will cost you a small fortune!

You can give your mouse antibiotics which will cost way less money.

Call your local feed and pet stores until you find one that carries a broad spectrum antibiotic in powder form. (I used Terramyicin for my pets.) It used to cost about $10.00 for a big bag. Terramyicin is used for poultry and swine by farmers.

Once you purchase some, put the teeniest, and I mean teeniest, pinch into your mouse's water. Every time you change the water, add another teeny pinch.

After three weeks have passed, discontinue adding the antibiotic.

This works well for all pets! I saved my little weenie dog's life who got run over by a car and had gaping wounds. I couldn't afford to take her to the vet and gave her this antibiotic!
