Will a pet store clean my hamsters cage2007-11-24 22:20:03

im going to italy this summer and my mom hates rodents so i'm lucky that she'll feed it. i won't be home for almost 2 months so i need to find some1 2 clean the cage, what can i do? if my mom takes the cage to the pet store and pays them, will they clean it?

I don't think so you could ask. Italy cool i went to Italy for Christmas. Hope you have fun. If the petstore doesn't you could ask a friend who can handle the responsibility of taking care of your hamster. If none of your friends know what to do then teach them how and tell them everything so your hamster will not die. Makesure they play with it too. Have fun in Italy!!

nope, they are usually too busy to do things like that. however, there are people who pet sit for a living. they will come to your house and feed and change your pets litter/cage etc. Look in your phone book or contact a local kennel, they may know someone who can do it. It's not free so save up some money and have fun in italy!

Some petstores will take care of your animals in their store while you are away on vacation. Some vets will as well. It might be worth it to call around and see if they will take care of your hamster while you are gone. If your mom hates the hamster that much, it would probably be better for everyone if you paid someone else who does like them to watch him for you.
