Back in the old days if a farmer had a rat problem in the barn they would put a handful 5 or more ferrets in the barn and the ferrets would kill all rats. Rats also hate the musce smell of ferrets and that smell keeps most all rodents away. (NATURAL ENEMYS)
definely NOT ferrets will kill other rodents and some other animals!! IF you get a ferret never let it go near the rat or even let it see it for your rats safety!!! You can get a ferret just let it never go near your rat or be in the same room!

Ferrets kill rats. Farmers used to use ferrets to hunt rats on their farms. If you do get the ferret make sure you keep it away from the rat or it will most likely get killed.
