If you don't know about hamsters, LEARN! Do not go out and buy a new hamster without doing a lot of research on your own. Do not rely on someone on the internet to tell you which kind they like best, or to tell you what to do when something doesn't go as planned. Go to hamster websites and check out hamster books from the library. Learn about the different breeds, what their personalities are, whether they like to be kept with a friend or not, whether they are nocturnal or not, what they eat, what sort of bedding to give them, how long they live, and so forth. Do you have the money for a new cage (escape-proof, this time!)? Can you afford to buy new food and bedding for the animal often? Can you afford to take the animal to the vet if it becomes ill? What will you do if you need to go on vacation? What will you do if you have to move to a place where they do not allow pets? You need to ask yourself all of these questions before committing to take care of another life.

maybe u can go and look for it and u may find it. poor thing, it may be looking for foods and water and can't find any !

Last time i lost my hamster coz i forgotten to close the door. It went down the drain on christmas day.

I think robro is fun to keep and watch. I think dwarf shld be active too, but however the dwarf pearl white i bought 1 mth ago is not active at all ! =(

leave out food and water for it-in a couple of locations in the house, one in the room where the cage was, and the other one move it a couple of times a day to see if its eaten, put some cheese on it-as long as you dont have mice or a cat this will work, & change the water daily
