Will my hamster have babies
she mated 20 days ago and shes a syrain hamster and they are supposed to have them after 18 days shes had a litter before but with a different male. her behaivor has changed she mad a big nest and a little one right beside it and shes been sleeping alot more and shes gotten a little bit bigger so please help!
Answers:Keep a close eye on her, I'd say she's having them today, probably in the very late night/early morning.
If she doesn't have them soon here, take her to the vet immediately, she could be having some problems giving birth. ):

Just Keep A Eye On Her,Give Her Space,Don't Spray Room Spray Were she is,No Loud Music,Scrambled Eggs (no herbs etc) Cooked Chicken,Bread Soaked in Milk,This is good for her engery and will be handy for her to help her recover from the litter,If she is Pregnant Then You Must Wait.Good Luck :)

give the gestation period a little longer, ( and throw in a cucumber that has not been mad e into a pickle., yet)
She could be a little late, gestation periods vary. Maybe she is giving birth to a bigger litter this time, so it would take much longer. It's not common for them to be late, so I wouldn't worry too much.
