as long as you give it lots of attention, it should be fine. if you do get 2 of them, get them the same sex, or else you will end up with many of them...

I have a guinea pig and if u give them love and attention it does not matter if u only have one but having 2 is much more work and having one is all u need if the guinea pig is getting proper care love and attention by u.

You should get 2 Guniea Pigs. Because if you only get 1 then it will become depressed and bite people.

You have to do that with pretty much all small rodents in which I had only one Gerbil and she never wanted to be held, out of her cage, or fed! And that is not a very healthy pet.

You should get 2 Guniea Pigs so they can be healthy! And since they wont be depressed (because you would get 2) you can hold them and play with them all you want!

Do you mean guinea pig? You can have just one. In fact, everyone that I've ever known that had one, had only one (at a time).

Two (not "to") could result in a litter if you accidentally got opposite sex ones. Be sure to get them the same sex if you decide to have more than one. They aren't real popular as pets anymore and the babies might be difficult to find homes for.
