With a ginnie piggy do you need to of them or can you just have one2007-11-24 22:20:12

I would recommend getting two though. You never know how your schedule may change.

Well 2 is better because then ur guinea pig has a cage mate and won't be alone when your not home. But you can have only 1 piggie but you should put more attention to em if you only have 1 because then em wont have anyone to play or talk with

a single pig needs more attention, more toys, more work! cos it doesn't have a friend. if u have the time u can get just one but be prepared to spend more time caring for it.

Its probably best to get 2 because when your not there it will get lonley, but i sugest getting 2 girls and make sure the pet shop or wherever your getting them from double checks that they are both the same sex because it happened to me and we ended up with heaps of babies!

if you get two guys they tend to fight.
