Would a mouse and a hamster get along
Would a mouse and a hamster get along2007-11-24 22:20:14
I know hamsters are solitary animals, yet mice are friendly.
They're both rodents.
They would be in the same cage.
Answers:You know hamsters are solitary animals...so why would they like being with mice?
The hamster would kill the mouse for sure. It's never a good idea to mix species.
hamsters indeed are solitary hamsters, but dwarfs are not, perhaps try a dwarf and a mouse ?
and if not you can try it just monitor them very closely first few days then make a judgment call might be different btwn every pair of rodents
YES THEY MIGHT GET ALONG JUST KEEP A EYE ON THEM IF THEY START TO FIGHT OR SOMETHIN.
Oh God please dont!
No, a hamster will no get along with a mouse. Hamsters have a hardly get along with eachother never mind something of another species. They wouldn't be able to communicate and it would stress each one out. Even if they don't fight at all when you have them it'd cut down their life span significantly because they'd constantly be stressed out.
No they wouldn't get along. Hamsters are solitary animals and will fight with the mouse! They don't even get along that well with there own kind so No the hamster might kill the mouse or they both will get badly injured! I really really woudn't try it!
i really would'nt try to do that. hamsters are naturally solitary creatures and the only time they ineract in the wild is to mate. if u really want a pet mouse, buy a seperate cage at petsmart or petco.
