Would a mouse and a hamster get along
Would a mouse and a hamster get along2007-11-24 22:20:14
I know hamsters are solitary animals, yet mice are friendly.
They're bath rodents.
They would be in the same cage.
Answers:DO NOT PUT A MOUSE AND A HAMSTER TOGETHER. The hamster is much 'larger' and because it is a 'solitary' animal it could kill and eat the mouse. If you must have both, keep them in two separate cages, preferably where they can't even see each other.
no
No not at all.
No.
Sure, their in the same family.
yes its possible like cats and dogs getting along. although i wouldnt risk it coz there would be a good chance that ur mouse would be terrified and die of shock
if one was solitary i wouldnt do it but all rodents can be different. i heard of a snake that was fed mice, but there was one mice that it just didnt eat and even wrapped itself around it and cuddled.. this happened to a friend of mines snake, it was so weird.. but try it, but if u notice one not eating or just being weird than usual i'd keep them seperated.. if they seem mean to each other, definitely keep them seperated.. good luck
the hamster would eat the mouse! Hamsters are solitary and will even eat another hamster from the same litter once they become mature. Plus.have you seen a full grown hamster?!? They get pretty big.
(When I mean eat...I mean they eat off the front of the face and neck and leave the rest of the body)
