Ok this is the story.

I have a father and his son (dwarf hamsters), that share a tank of about 11'' in length and 6 in wide...I know it's small...

But that's not the real problem.

About 15 mins ago I discover something wrong with my babys butt!

Hes only about 4 months.

When He was much younger no more then 4 weeks, He was the smallest of the liter and was ,i believe, constipated because it was like dry **** (dodo) and it made his butthole really big.

soo I ran his little butt under warm water and he began to **** again regular.

But now I don't what to do because when he sits now this 1/4 inche bloody thing comes out his *** and he shits though it!!

I'm so worry I don't want to lose him. although he seems fine...this happened today.

Is it possible that his own father raped him though the ***?

But please HELP ME!!

I'm so sorry for your hammie! That sounds very painful.

First, separate the two.

Second, call your vet. It sounds like rectal prolapse to me.

Hope you get him in & he gets some help to get well.

Honsestly I don't know what to say, other than to seperate the hamsters, and if possible scedule a vet appointment. Sometimes 2 males no matter what age do not get along very well in the same cage. Good Luck!

Unfortunately One of mine perished when It had a condition like this. I don't know what to say I don't know what causes it or if you had anything to do with it. When i wanted to take mine to the vet all they said was we don't really look at em but we can put him down for ya. I obviously said H3LL NO. But again he did eventually die.

i don't think you should keep male hamsters together even if they are father-son. i left mine for the weekend once and came back to them both dead from fighting... :(
