I remember seeing cows that must of been 9 ft tall at a zoo once. Anyone know the breed of these types of cows? I am trying to tell people at work about them, but no one believes me.

Ahh, perhaps you saw the National Geographic episode on the Giant Himalayan Mountain Cows. The adult males can get pretty big -- and even some of the mature females. They tend to be larger and furrier than say, Nepalese Mega Mountain Cows, or even Costa Rican Crested Rainforest Cows.

I am shocked that no one at your office watches these shows on TV. tell them to turn off American Idol and tune into giant cows!

if you were a child they seemed that big, the american bison is large but not that large, an ox is much larger than a cow and looks like a cow so that may have been what you saw. but they arent 9 ft tall.
