What a guinea pig be a good pet? I have two cats. A boy and a girl.

Mabey I should keep it my room? What do u think?

Well they dont get along with any other animals, i would just get a wire cage and keep it somewhere. Let it out when the cats are outside. Plus Guinea pigs are prone to alot more diseses from cats and other animals.

I think a guinea pig would be a good pet if you keep it away from the cats. Keep it in a safe cage somewhere where the cats won't be able to get to it. I've had bad guinea pig incidents with both cats and dogs! =)

i have 4 guniea pigs and mine live indoors they dont really do much sleep eat and go to the toliet i know a lot of my friends think there boring but mine love to be stroked and squeak when you rub there ears

Lots of questions to consider first, being the regular ones. Are you able to accomodate each of the pets properly? Housing would be real important, as well as security. Cats naturally are nosey and into things, often very playful, and not sure that the combination is something that you might be aware of. I might re-think this or talk to others who may have the same situation. Good Luck.

Yeah you can, as long as you socialize it with your other pets as soon as possible. Some do get along with others don't, as long as they are supervised when around each other, I say go for it!

please do your research about how much attention a guinea pig needs and ifyou can take care of it.they are exotic animals and require a lot more attention than a house cat (which probably requires the less compared to other animals)

No it is not a good idea!! especially with cats. the guinea pigs reproduce rapidly aswell and the babies ussually die.. but the cats wi;ll kill the guinea pigs.depends on the breed of cat

Guinea Pigs are wonderful pets if you make the time for them.
